Columbia River Adventures has the ideal fishing day trip for you and offers you a chance to witness the beauty of the Columbia River from the best vantage point – on the water.

Columbia River Guided Rainbow Trout Charter
Up to two anglers per boat. 

Pick up at the arranged boat ramp. Trail, Genelle or Castlegar B.C.
Includes rods, reels (Fly and spin casting) and all the needed flies, lures, jigs.
Guests may also bring their own personal fishing gear.
6-7 hours of guiding in the spring and summer, often into the evening. 13:00-19:00 on a typical day.
Trips may start later and extend into the late evening depending on the time of year and weather conditions.

Lower Duncan River Guided Bull Trout Charter. 

Up to two anglers per boat.

Columbia River adventures offer guided Bull trout fishing charters on the Lower Duncan River situated between the Duncan Damn (Lardeau River) and the north end of Kootenay lake. (30 km north of Kaslo B.C.) Charters are limited and only available during peak fishing months. March and mid-September to late October.

The lower Duncan River offers world-class, action-packed Bull trout fishing. The river is clear and is host to a healthy Bull trout population. Drifting, anchored or from shore, anglers will be memorised by the surrounding mountains and the wildlife that calls the river and its banks home.

Battle heavy bull trout on the fly rod, spin rod or bait caster. The Duncan River can provides all day angling action. This trip is a true adventure into the West Kootenay wilderness. Pick up at the arranged boat ramp. (Lardeau or Argenta B.C.).
Includes rods, reels (Fly and spin casting). All the needed flies, lures, jigs.

Guests may also bring their own personal fishing gear. Personal waders and wading boots are recommended.

6-7 hours of guiding. 12:00-18:00 on a typical day. Trips may start earlier/later and extend into the early evening depending on the time of year and weather conditions.

Columbia River Guided Walleye Fishing Charter

Available July to October
Up to three anglers per boat. Maximum 2 adults.

The Columbia River is home to an abundant Walleye population.
Walleye is an invasive species in the Columbia River between The Hugh Keenleyside Dam and the Washington state boarder. Daily limits for this popular great eating fish is 16/angler per day. Walleye fishing can be simple and fun for anglers of any age or ability.

  • Pick up at the arranged boat ramp. (Castlegar B.C.)
  • Includes rods, reels and all the needed jigs/bait.
  • Guests may also bring their own personal fishing gear.
  • 6-7 hours of guiding in summer.
  • Trips start times may vary. To be discussed ahead of time with your guide

Cancellations & Refunds:
• Free Cancellation (Full Refund):
Cancellations made 7 days or more before your scheduled trip will receive a 100% refund – no questions asked.
• Short-Notice 
Cancellations (Partial Refund):
Cancellations made between 72 hours and 7 days before the trip will receive a 50% refund, or you may reschedule your trip at no extra charge (subject to availability).
• Last-Minute Cancellations (No Refund):
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the trip are non-refundable.

Bad Weather & Safety:
• Your safety always comes first. If we need to cancel or postpone due to unsafe weather or water conditions, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to reschedule your trip.

Illness or Emergencies:
• Life happens. If you need to cancel due to illness or a family emergency, let us know as soon as you can. We’ll handle these situations compassionately and on a case-by-case basis.

• Please contact us by phone or email to make any changes to your booking. The more notice you give, the better we can accommodate both you and other guests.
